XJ-13 looks different in certain lights. In direct light the plants feature thick, dense buds so covered in resiny goodness that they appear white to the naked eye. There are orange hairs creeping out of the flower as if they are reaching for the sky. When harvested the nuggs have a purple hue intertwined with green and amber. Choosing an outdoor location with plenty of sunlight and well-drained soil you are going to want to have control over the climate as much as possible to get your seeds to harvest. Dial in Your Growing Conditions

• Indoor or Outdoor: XJ-13 plants grow well indoors and outdoors in the right environment. The ideal temperature for these plants is between 70-80 degrees fahrenheit. During the vegetative stage, providing 18-24 hours of light per day is perfect. It’s important to adjust the light schedule to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness each day during the flowering stage.
•  Moisture control: Humidity plays an important role in the development of XJ-13 plants. During the early stages, humidity levels between 60-70% are beneficial. As they move into the vegetative stage, the humidity levels can be reduced to around 50-60%. During the flowering stage, lower the humidity further, to around 40-50%, to prevent mold and mildew.
• Training Techniques: Low-stress training and topping can really help this strain reach its peak. These methods will optimize bud growth and make sure that ample light reaches every level of the plant from top to bottom.

Yields, Flowering Time and Harvest

• Flowering Time: With indoor grows you can expect the XJ-13 strain to harvest after a flowering stage of 55-65 days. If growing outdoors, expect to harvest in early October. Pick the buds at their peak ripeness. When the trichomes have turned from clear to a milky white or amber color and cut down the branches to begin the drying process
• Yields: While Indoor yields are around 500 grams per square meter and outdoor grows typically produce up to 600 grams per plant. Whether growing indoors or outdoors your yields will be great with large, dense buds.
